1. Introduction

Welcome to MRCS Oxford. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the MRCS Oxford website (www.mrcsoxford.co.uk) and all services, including courses, webinars, mentoring, and related educational resources ("Services") offered through the website. By accessing or using any part of the Services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

2. Eligibility

The Services provided by MRCS Oxford are specifically designed for candidates preparing for the Membership of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (MRCS) examination. By enrolling in our courses, you confirm that you are a current or prospective MRCS candidate.

3. Courses and Services

3.1 Fixed Start Dates and Access

Courses are offered with fixed start dates, which will be communicated to you upon registration. All course content is strictly viewable online and is not available for download. Access to course materials is granted only for the duration of the course, after which access will be terminated.

3.2 No Guarantees

MRCS Oxford aims to provide high-quality educational resources. However, we make no guarantees regarding your success in the MRCS exam. While our current average pass rate is approximately 94%, individual results may vary, and we do not guarantee any specific outcome.

4. Payments and Fees

4.1 Payment Methods

We accept payment via credit card only. Payment can be made either as a one-off payment or through a 5-month installment plan.

4.2 Memberships

We offer a monthly membership, which provides access to additional materials and content. Membership payments will recur monthly unless canceled.

4.3 Additional Fees

Some services, such as live courses and course materials not included in the original package, may incur additional fees. These fees will be clearly communicated before purchase.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Refund Policy

• Full Refund: You are eligible for a full refund if you cancel your course within the first 14 days of purchase.

• Pro Rata Refund: After the initial 14-day period, refunds will be issued on a pro-rata basis, depending on the amount of course content accessed and the time remaining in your course.

• No Refunds: We do not offer refunds for missed live sessions. However, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule missed sessions based on the mentor’s availability. Rescheduling is not guaranteed.

5.2 Exclusions

The refund policy applies to all courses, webinars, and mentoring services offered through MRCS Oxford, with the exception of access to notes, which are non-refundable.

6. Course Availability and Modifications

MRCS Oxford reserves the right to modify the course schedule and materials as necessary. Any significant changes will be communicated via email at least one week before they take effect. Additional content may be added to your course materials without prior notice.

We also reserve the right to cancel courses, particularly live sessions, due to low enrollment. In such cases, you will be offered the option to either receive a full refund or reschedule the course to a future date.

7. Intellectual Property and Use of Materials

All content provided by MRCS Oxford, including but not limited to videos, notes, presentations, and other educational materials, is the intellectual property of MRCS Oxford.

7.1 Prohibited Actions

• Sharing or downloading the course materials is strictly prohibited.

• Students are only permitted to use the materials during the course duration. Access to the materials will terminate at the end of the course, or when the subscription or membership ends.

9. Third-Party Services

MRCS Oxford uses third-party services, such as Stripe, for payment processing. By using our services, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions of these third-party providers. MRCS Oxford is not responsible for any issues arising from the use of third-party services.

10. Termination of Services

If you violate any of these Terms, including but not limited to sharing or downloading course materials, MRCS Oxford reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services. You will receive two notifications regarding any breach. If the breach is not resolved after these warnings, your subscription will be canceled, and you will receive a pro-rata refund for any remaining unused access.

11. Public Reviews and Feedback

Students are welcome to leave public reviews and feedback on our website and other platforms. However, MRCS Oxford reserves the right to remove any reviews that are deemed inappropriate or violate our guidelines.

12. Limitation of Liability

MRCS Oxford provides its services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the website or services will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from the use of our website, services, or content, including but not limited to delays, data loss, or missed exam passes.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us directly for resolution. Disputes that cannot be resolved through negotiation will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

14. Changes to Terms and Conditions

MRCS Oxford reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and you will be notified via email. It is your responsibility to review the Terms regularly.
